ABSTRACT
Ideology of Pakistan is based on two nation theory that means, to save the distinct religious, political, economic, cultural and social identity of the Muslims of subcontinent .So we can say that the basis of ideology of Pakistan was Islam. The Indian Muslims were very well awared of their aim. They wanted a separate state where they can apply the rule of sovereignty of Allah and teachings of Quran and Sunnah. The most raised slogan was “what mean of Pakistan? لا الہ الا اللہ”۔ . But after the creation of Pakistan some secular groups argued that this slogan was created by some “mullahs” for their benefits after the creation of Pakistan and it was not raised ever before. These secular groups want to create confusion and dubiousness in minds of Pakistani people especially in new generation about two nation theory, Muslim nationalism, Islamic identity and ideological approach of Pakistan. For this purpose they are using some print and electronic media groups and destroying the Pakistan’s Islamic ideological basis as well as Pakistan movement’s history.
This article can help to know what the aim of secular groups is and why media is creating ambiguity in the minds of new generation. It would be proved that, before partition the level of ideological approach of Muslims was higher than now. The methodology of research would be descriptive and analytical. Along with interviews and survey, basic books are consulted regarding the ideology of Pakistan and Pakistani movement written before and after the creation of Pakistan.
