Abstract

Miracle has been discussed for centuries by the thinkers, philosophers, theologians, Muslims and non-Muslim scholars. Most of the Muslim Scholars of their time are of the view that Miracle is the name of Super Natural appearance at the hands of the prophets. Contrary to that Non-Muslim philosopher and thinkers are of the opinion that the happening of miracle by any human being is impossible. Miracle being a part of the Sirah of the prophets has remained an interesting topic among scholars.
Since the topic of Miracle has been under discussion for a long span of time and there has been difference of opinions among variety of Muslim and Non-ءuslim scholars, this article therefore, explores and explains the reality of Miracle, its types, circumstances and objectives. It further, explains that whether Supernatural appearances have any existence or is there any possibility of its happenings.
This article however, also discusses and explains the common and specific traditions (Sunnah and Fitrat) of Allah and that both these traditions lie under the supreme sovereignty of Allah almighty, Despite that both demonstrative and conceptual miracles of different prophets have been discussed and that why all these miracles are diverse in nature from each other.
