Abstract

The qualities and properties which are predicable of human essence (Zat), as the general merits and demerits by which a man is evaluated, among them the moral or ethical qualities have their distinct and specific status and degree, being enunciated by religion and espoused by pure discretion and pious intuition. They are naturally classified as good or praiseworthy qualities, and bad or blameworthy qualities. Then, each quality is either "intransitive", that is related to personal and individual life, or "transitive", that is related to collective and social life; or both intransitive and transitive in good and commendable qualities, there is one which is termed as "Tolerance", which shortly means to endure and put up with the physical and mental troubles and pains that are inflicted by the other fellow men. Referring to the Islamic instructions and the current world situation, here is some reflection on the importance and excellence of this great cardinal, communal virtue that is in fact what cannot be over estimated.
