ABSTRACT
Shariah is all about securing the interests of the mankind in this world and hereafter. There is no ruling or command of the lawgiver but contains the specific objective for it, which ends to safeguard the interests of the Mukalaf (Subject) and community as well. These interests are known as objectives or Purposes of Shariah. These objectives are put into consideration in every field of Fiqh, every chapter of a field and even every rule of a chapter. These field are like: Fiqh al Ebadaat (Islamic Worship Law), Fiqh al Usra’, (Islamic Family Law), Fiqh al Muhamlat (Islamic Commercial Law) etc. This research will deal specifically with the objectives of Shariah in the institution of mirage, presenting of family life in Islam. Shariah has given great importance to the institution of marriage and proved many rules to regularized it. The main purpose of Islamic law is considered to be the preservation and protection of family life and family values. But unfortunately, this unit went far behind in the modern way of life, where the couple and the society take it not more than, but one of the tools to fulfill the sexual thrust, and for a time being. This study will highlight the main objectives of Shariah in Nikah al Shari, and its impacts on the society, and also try to analyze a brief of what consequences the human being is bearing by not recognizing or realizing these objectives specially in the Muslim world.
