Abstract:
If oriental movement may consider as symbol of antagonism against the endeavors of Islam, their activities were originated with the advent of Islam. The westerns had been expressing malice and hostility from time to time specially against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and generally against Islam. Therefore, the bull and cock stories of orientalists kept on transferring descending from father to son. But, it was the fresh tree of Islam in front of orientalists which roots were spreading far and wide. Its stem was so strong and fruitful.
Orientalists began to stroke on its roots, but despite of continuously stroking on it. They saw it much stronger. They began to detect these resources through which this pure tree was continuously taking food. They found its reality that the peak of the fort of Islam had been erected on the strongest pillars likewise the Holy Quran, Hadith and Seerat-e-Mustafa (PBUH). They strained every nerve to demolish its pillars, but vain. They regretted on their failure.
I shall briefly describe only one pillar with the reference to above; i.e., the Holy Quran with counter reference to the efforts about enmity of Islam raised by the orientalists.

Abstract:
The most challenging question for the biologist today is, what is life? After the continuous struggle for several years the answer is still unsatisfactory. The experts defined life in different ways on the basis of different characteristics of living organisms. That's why what we find today are more than hundred definitions of life and among them some contradict others. Despite all the efforts of biologist there is not a single definition of life that is generally acceptable for all living organisms. The reason is quite simple life is much more complicated than our thoughts. For the same question when we turn towards the teachings of Islam, the Holy Quran and the Sayings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) we find another world of mystery. This article compares the scientific concept of life with the Islamic concept and reflects the importance of life for human beings.
