Abstract

In the 21st Century the Muslim Ummah is confronted with grave challenges in the political, economic and ideological fields. In the International environment security demands of states keep on changing but after 9/11 immence change was noticed, when the war against international terrorism began. At face value it was an effort against violence but in the long run it turned out to be a war against the Muslim Ummah which was being targeted directly and indirectly since the last decade. In this situation Organization of Islamic Cooperation could serve as an important platform to project the image of the Muslim World at the International level.
