Abstract

Ayyub Sabir may be considered one of those Muslim-thinkers who performed thier literary efforts for the betterment of Islam. He was a famous poet, prose writer and columnist of Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa. He has performed literary services in Urdu and Pashto literature. Although he has command in every field of literature, yet his religious poetry is much popular as compared to the other fields of literature. This article is entirely related to the Islamic thoughts of Ayyub Sabir. He has decorated his poems with Islamic thoughts. This article communicates the analytical study of promotion of Naat. Its contextual meaning with reference to Islamic literature is to cover all aspects of the life of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The importance of Hadith and Seerah, has also been considered in this article. No doubt Ayyub Sabir is a multifaceted writer; however he has given his much time to his poetry and prpose writing for the progress of Islam. He has described remarkable beliefs of Islam in his poetry. He wrote in his Naats that Quran explains every aspect of the life of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This article shows that the life of our prophet (PBUH) is a mercy unto the whole mankind and the universe. Ayyub Sabir says that the life of Holy prophet (PBUH) is the epitome of tolerance, forgiveness, patience and compassion.
