Abstract

The World has taken the shape of a global village through scientific advancement and the fastest means of communication. The trend of migration has increased tremendously due to various reasons. This has led to the rise of multicultural societies consisting of people from different countries and religions.Many Muslims also live in Western (Un-Islamic)States. Beside the local Muslims, many of them are those Muslims who have migrated from different countries and living there as a minority and they are facing many religious, cultural, legal and social issues i.e, the nature of relations with non-Muslims, the limitations of accepting local laws and culture etc. In this paper we have discussed the Family issues arising due to difference of religions, customs, traditions, habits and laws i.e issues of interfaith marriage, legal documents related to marriage, issues of separation of spouses such as divorce, khula, annulment of marriage etc and the solutions of these issues according to the teachings of Qur'an and Sunnah.
