Abstract

The renowned scholar of Indo Pak Mawlana Sa'id Ahmad Akbarabadi is not a new name in literary and scholarly circles of Indo Pak. He keeps a prominent position in modern and traditional scholarly gathering for his Knowledge and Wisdom, morality and integrity, profundity and depth in knowledge and skill, didactic and research services. He was a broad vision and enlightened scholar. He studied in traditional and modern academies and also taught in these institutions, so his personality was the combination of modern and traditional traits. He was prominent writer of his time. His subject was Quran o Hadith, Sirat al Nabi SAW, and Islamic History, he penned down more than a dozen books on above mentioned topics, on the other hand he remain the editor of monthly "Burhan" for 48 years during which he gained the height of popularity in journalistic circles. Due to his individuality, distinctiveness and outstanding traits the fields of his services are very extensive and full of variety. The present study in constituted of brief life sketch of Mawlana Sa'id Ahmad Akbarabadi, in which the various aspect of his personality is highlighted.
